A proposed overpass connecting Lakewood Ranch and University Town Center (UTC) is awaiting state approval. The overpass would span over Interstate 75 and provide a direct connection onto Cattleman Road in Sarasota. The proposed project is expected to improve traffic flow and reduce congestion in the area, making it easier for residents and visitors to get around.
