With the boom in home sales in 2021, county commissioners will be faced with a good problem (or bad depending on how you view taxes). The adjusted property taxes for all the home sales means double digit increases in potential spending for counties. Commissioners will need to decide on whether to move forward with many infrastructure projects, pay increases, services increases and more.
