Construction work has begun at improving the popular SRQ Airport. When completed, five new gates will be created via a new ground boarding facility. Construction teams are racing to get it completed by October of 2024. Until then, the existing airport is getting some new additions, such as new retail space, upgraded escalators, and plenty of infrastructure to support the ever-expanding airport. This airport is a favorite of my clients because of its easy in and out access and its proximity to Sarasota and Manatee County homes.
