The Florida Department of Transportation has unveiled its I-75 regional plan, which includes expanding the highway and adding managed lanes. Our area has the potential of seeing additional toll lanes run parallel to the regular I-75 lanes from Clark Road in Sarasota County to U.S. 301 in Manatee County, very similar to the Lee Roy Selmon Expressway in Tampa.
