LUMBER COSTS ARE COMING DOWN, SO SHOULD NEW HOME COSTS

Lumber prices hit an all time record last year, but as demand slows, lumber mills are reporting slashes in their prices. Prices for lumber are now down 65% from their record high a year ago. This is a great sign for new build homes, which saw the hardest price increases and delays due to the lumber shortage. Now experts are saying we can expect an easing in prices on new build homes.
