Two New Schools Bring More Education Options to Fruitville Road

Sarasota families have two new education options on Fruitville Road for the 2026 to 2027 school year. Sarasota Classical Preparatory Academy and Prodigy Early Learning have joined the growing area, adding both elementary and middle school education and early childhood learning opportunities.

Sarasota Classical Preparatory Academy spans more than 45,000 square feet and has capacity for 900 students in kindergarten through eighth grade. The tuition free charter school campus includes a multipurpose athletic field as well as an outdoor amphitheater designed to serve as an open air classroom.

Right next door, Prodigy Early Learning adds another option for families with younger children. The nearly 13,000 square foot preschool facility has capacity for 205 students.

Both schools were built by Ryan Companies in partnership with Red Apple Development, adding significant new educational space along the Fruitville Road corridor.
