Creating a Healthier Home, One Simple Change at a Time

Your home should be more than just a place to live, it should be a place where you can relax, recharge, and feel your best.

Whether you've just moved into a new home or you're simply looking for healthier everyday choices, this page is designed to provide practical tips, trusted resources, and products that can help you create a cleaner, lower-tox living environment.

Before becoming a Realtor®, I spent several years managing an integrative medical practice, where I developed a passion for wellness and healthy living. Over the years, I've spent countless hours researching products, ingredients, and simple lifestyle changes that make healthy living more approachable - not overwhelming.

I don't believe low-tox living is about perfection or replacing everything overnight. It's about making small, intentional changes over time that fit your lifestyle and help create a home that truly supports your well-being.

Whether you're settling into a new home or simply making improvements to the one you already love, I hope these resources inspire you along the way.

Start Your Low-Tox Journey

One of the biggest misconceptions about healthier living is that you have to change everything at once. In reality, some of the most impactful habits are also the simplest.

Here are a few easy places to start:

  • Open your windows for 10 - 15 minutes each day to improve indoor air quality.
  • Remove your shoes at the door to reduce dirt, pesticides, and allergens.
  • Dust and vacuum regularly, preferably with a HEPA-filter vacuum.
  • Wash new clothing, towels, and bedding before using them.
  • Replace heavily scented candles and plug-ins with fragrance-free or naturally scented alternatives.
  • Store food in glass or stainless steel whenever possible.
  • Turn on your kitchen exhaust fan while cooking to improve ventilation.
  • Choose fragrance-free laundry detergent and consider switching to wool dryer balls.
  • Add a few air-purifying houseplants throughout your home.
  • Filter your drinking water whenever possible.

Remember, you don't have to do everything at once. Start with one or two simple changes and build from there.

More Than Real Estate

Helping people find the right home is what I do professionally but helping people love where they live goes beyond real estate.

A healthy home isn't about having the newest finishes or the perfect décor. It's about creating a space that supports your lifestyle, helps you recharge, and feels like home.

My hope is that this page becomes a trusted resource you return to again and again, whether you're buying a home, settling into a new one, or simply making small changes that improve everyday living.
