IKEA is Officially Coming to Sarasota

Big news for Sarasota, IKEA is opening a brand-new 48,000-square-foot store near The Mall at University Town Center, and it’s expected to arrive by late summer 2026. The store at 147 N. Cattlemen Road will carry over 5,000 items on display with 3,000 available for immediate takeaway, plus design planning services for kitchens, bedrooms, and bathrooms. It will also feature a Swedish deli serving up their famous meatballs and cinnamon buns. This will be IKEA’s sixth location in Florida, joining stores in Tampa, Orlando, Miami, Jacksonville, and Sunrise.
